About Me

Having worked as a freelance hair and makeup artist for a number of years I have the experience and expertise to not only listen/understand the brief, but also creatively contribute to the overall look while maintaining the stylistic integrity of the project. Wether working on a large scale commercial project or with a private client, I approach them all with the same professional dedication. 

I am trained in all areas of makeup including beauty/high-fashion, event, airbrushing, special fx and prosthetics. Each year I up-skill by taking master classes and workshops to grow and stay current. I research and edit my kit continually to ensure I have best products available which enable me to work confidently and efficiently. 

Additionally I’m a trained hairstylist having worked in salons for over 8 years; during which time I built up a solid and loyal client base. In my own time I organised fashion shows, participated in training seminars and trained junior stylists. I am experienced in all aspects of hairdressing including cutting, colouring, styling and updos. I have also competed on a regional and national level in New Zealand.

Areas I have worked in are; film, fashion/editorial, commercial, bridal/special events and personal branding (headshots and portfolio shoots)
